Upcoming wholesale trade shows in the Netherlands: the brand's guide to what's coming up near you

Trade shows are still one of the fastest ways for a brand to meet a room full of retail buyers in two or three days. But a show only pays off if you pick the right one, prep properly, and have a way to keep the conversation going once the doors close.
This guide covers the B2B wholesale trade fairs still coming up in the Netherlands — from the autumn 2026 season through early 2027. The spring shows have already wrapped, so everything below is a fair you can still plan to attend. For each you'll find the dates, the venue, and who it's built for, so you can decide where your collection actually belongs.

Why trade shows still matter for wholesale brands
A good trade show does three things at once: it puts your products in front of qualified buyers, it gives you real-time feedback on your range, and it compresses months of outreach into a few intense days. For brands in home, gift, lifestyle, fashion and food, the Dutch and Benelux fair calendar is one of the densest in Europe.
The catch is that a show is a moment, not a channel. The orders that matter most often come in the weeks after the fair — when a buyer who took your card is ready to reorder, or when a retailer you never met browses your line online.
Even the orders you do take at the booth are easy to lose. Too often they're scribbled on paper or typed into a spreadsheet, then re-entered into your system days later — slow, error-prone, and easy to lose. The Orderchamp Cloud Sales App fixes that: your reps write orders directly on a phone or tablet right at the fair, even offline when the Wi-Fi drops, and everything syncs into one central system. No double entry afterwards, no lost order forms — the order already exists in your back office the moment you hit save.

The major shows worth planning around
Trendz.showUP — 30 Aug–1 Sep 2026, Gorinchem

The headline event of the Dutch autumn retail season. After Trendz and showUP joined forces, the combined fair now bills itself as the largest retail trade event in the Benelux, with 300+ brands spanning home décor, gifts, home, kids, stationery, lifestyle, jewellery, accessories and tableware. If your collection sits anywhere in gift and lifestyle, this is the one to build your autumn around.
Amsterdam Fashion Week — 1–5 Sep 2026, Amsterdam

Five days of catwalk shows, presentations and trade moments across the city. Much of the programme is invitation-only and professional, drawing a growing audience of directional international brands, buyers and press, with a strong sustainability focus. More brand-building than pure order-writing, but a key calendar moment for fashion labels.
Kitchen & Design Days — 6–8 Sep 2026, Jaarbeurs Utrecht

A newer Jaarbeurs event for the living and luxury-gift space, featuring design brands alongside kitchen and interior collections. A good fit for premium home and design-led gift ranges.
Spot On — 20-21 Sep 2026, Autotron Rosmalen

A focused buying event for independent retailers looking to refresh their gift and family assortment ahead of the autumn season. Spot On Retail brings together hundreds of brands across toys, stationery, gifts, greeting cards, party supplies, hobby and kids' products in a relaxed, easy-to-navigate setting. If your collection targets gift shops, bookstores, concept stores or family retailers, this is one of the Netherlands' key sourcing events.
InCoDa (Interieurcollectiedagen) — 21–23 Sep 2026, Gorinchem

A focused B2B interior fair that draws around 5,000 interior professionals and 200+ brands across furniture, lighting, flooring, wall and window coverings, and accessories. In 2026 it runs alongside the Hout Interieur Beurs — strong if you sell into interior designers and specialty home retailers.
ISPO Amsterdam — 3–5 Nov 2026, RAI Amsterdam

After 25 years in Munich, ISPO — the leading international sporting goods, outdoor and winter-sports fair — makes its historic move to Amsterdam, expecting 50,000+ visitors across eight halls. Essential if your range touches sport, outdoor or activewear.
Horecava — 11–14 Jan 2027, RAI Amsterdam

The Netherlands' largest hospitality and foodservice fair, drawing more than 60,000 professionals (2027 marks its 70th edition). The place to be if your products sell through cafés, restaurants and hotels.
Modefabriek (winter edition) — January 2027, Amsterdam area

The leading Dutch fashion trade show, now womenswear-focused. The winter edition traditionally lands in mid-to-late January; confirm exact dates on the official site as they're announced.
Smaller shows most brands overlook
The big fairs get the attention, but sharply-targeted shows often deliver higher-intent buyers per square metre. Three still on the 2026 calendar:
Vakbeurs Foodspecialiteiten — 14–15 Sep 2026, Gorinchem. Deliberately cozy (~275 exhibitors); it began as a cheese fair and is now the largest Dutch "fresh/specialty" food event.

Hout Interieur Beurs — 21–23 Sep 2026, Gorinchem. A newer fair for interior makers, furniture builders and woodworking specialists, co-located with InCoDa.

Planning further ahead? Spring 2027 typically brings back niche B2B fairs like Jewels & Luxury (jewellery and watches, Jaarbeurs Utrecht) and PREVIEW Kids (children's fashion and footwear, Nieuwegein) — worth watching for dates if those are your categories.
How to get the most out of any trade show
Before. Set a concrete goal (e.g. 40 qualified buyer conversations, 15 sample orders). Email target retailers in advance to book slots. Make sure your line sheet, pricing and minimums are finalised and easy to share digitally.
During. Capture every lead the same way — name, store, and what they were interested in. A booth QR code that opens your B2B catalogue lets buyers browse and save products on the spot instead of walking off with a paper sheet.
After. This is where most orders are won or lost. Follow up within 48 hours while you're still fresh in mind, and give every buyer a frictionless way to place and repeat their order.
Set yourself up for a successful fair
Beyond the software, a few more things make or break the day. Bring the Orderchamp Cloud Sales App so every order is captured on the spot — even offline — and lands in your system without re-entry. And don't underestimate the booth itself: with hundreds of brands competing for attention, make yours stand out with a clear, uncluttered display, strong signage, your best-selling products at eye level, and a warm, prepared team ready to talk. A booth that draws people in, plus a fast way to write their orders, is what turns a busy fair into a full order book.
